Cancellation and Refund Policy
This manual-review policy applies to new bookings that display version manual-review-90pct-v1 before payment.
Last updated 28 August 2026
Standard guest refund
A guest cancellation is a request subject to manual admin review. The standard approved voluntary-cancellation refund is up to 90% of the amount actually paid through Stripe and is returned to the original payment method.
Manual review
Timing, the accepted booking-policy snapshot and the circumstances are reviewed before approval. No refund is automatic. Mandatory consumer rights and documented exceptional circumstances remain unaffected.
After check-in and no-shows
After check-in, or if the guest does not arrive, unused nights are not automatically refundable. Documented serious property problems, safety issues and mandatory legal rights are reviewed individually.
Host cancellation
If the host cancels or cannot provide the booked stay, the guest receives a full refund for the unavailable service. LetsRent may assist with alternatives but cannot guarantee an equivalent replacement.
Process and timing
Submit the request in LetsRent or contact daniil.tyutin777@gmail.com with the booking reference. Approved refunds go to the original payment route; bank processing commonly takes 5–10 business days. Used cashback is restored where eligible and cashback earned from refunded value is reversed.
Existing bookings
Every booking keeps the exact cancellation-policy version accepted at booking time. This update does not retroactively replace older terms.
Operator, prices, complaints and consumer rights
LetsRent (letsrent.ee) is currently operated by its individual founder from Tallinn, Estonia. No legal entity has been registered yet, so the operator is a natural person and not a company. Operator's full legal name: Daniil Tyutin. Service and contact address: Uus-sadama 11a, Tallinn, Estonia. Contact: daniil.tyutin777@gmail.com · +372 55671366.
LetsRent acts as an online marketplace and intermediary. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, the accommodation or vehicle rental contract is concluded between the guest and the independent host or supplier; LetsRent provides the platform, payment routing and support.
Before you pay, the booking screen shows the total price for the selected dates, including the service fee, any discount, applied cashback and taxes charged through the platform. Charges collected on site by the host (for example a local tourist tax, deposit or cleaning fee) are shown in the listing where known.
Card payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) as payment service provider. We never store full card numbers. Payouts to hosts run through Stripe Connect.
Cancellation and refund rules are set by the cancellation policy saved with your booking and published at /cancellation-policy, which forms part of these terms.
For accommodation and vehicle rental provided on specific dates or for a specific period, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal generally does not apply under Estonian and EU consumer law. Where that exception does not in fact apply to a particular service, your statutory withdrawal right remains fully available, and our cancellation policy never replaces it.
Complaints: write to daniil.tyutin777@gmail.com with your booking reference. We aim to answer within 3 business days and to resolve the complaint within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, a consumer resident in Estonia may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, and consumers in other countries may contact the competent consumer authority or out-of-court dispute body in their country of residence.
Estonian law applies to the relationship with the operator, and Estonian courts have jurisdiction, but this never deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory rules of the country in which they reside, nor of the right to bring proceedings there.
